Tired of hand-sorting your loot, or building giant hopper contraptions? GlymeraBluestoneSorter turns sorting into three colour-coded chests that snap right into your base — and it brings its own hopper, so you don't even need a separate automation plugin to feed it.

The three chests

🟢 Sorter Input Chest — throw everything into it. Right-click with an item to drop that stack in, hit Deposit Inventory to pick stacks from your bags, or let a hopper fill it automatically.

🔵 Sorter Output Chest — drop in one (or several) item types and that is its filter. The Input Chest then funnels matching items here. The filter is always visible — it's simply what's inside.

🔴 Sorter Hopper Chest — an item mover. It pulls from a chest above it and the four sides, or, if there's no chest around, vacuums up loose items off the ground — then pushes everything into the chest below it. Stand it on an Input Chest and your farm output sorts itself.

How sorting works

The Input Chest links to the 4 nearest Output Chests in range and sends each item to the nearest one that wants it (ties shared fairly). A full Output Chest simply stops accepting and the leftovers wait in the Input Chest. Only your own chests link together — your green chest will never feed a neighbour's blue chest, so shared builds stay tidy.

Built to scale

The sorting sweep is event-driven: an idle network costs almost nothing, busy ones only do work for the items actually moving, and it never blocks the rest of your server. Build as many sorters as you like and chain them off your farms, mob grinders and Bluestone builds.

Crafting

All three chests are crafted at the Alchemybench from a Small Bamboo Chest, Greater Essence of Life, and an element essence (Fire for Input, Ice for Output, Void for the Hopper). Every recipe can be toggled off in the config.
