Collection Master

⚠️ WIP: This mod is in an early stage of development. Don't forget to leave your suggestions in the comments.

Collection Master adds a configurable item collection system that turns everyday resources into long-term player progression.

Players can unlock collections by discovering items, submit resources through an in-game interface, complete milestone-based objectives, and earn rewards as they progress. Submitted items are consumed permanently, making every collection a meaningful resource sink for survival, RPG, economy, and multiplayer servers.

Each collection tracks progress per player, supports partial submissions, shows milestone progress, and can reward players with permanent stat bonuses or claimable item rewards. Once a collection is fully completed, players can prestige it and start again while keeping their earned stat bonuses.

Collection Master works out of the box with a default set of collections, milestones, rewards, and prestige settings, but is designed to be highly configurable for server owners and modpack creators.

Features

  • Per-player collection progress
  • Item submission through an in-game interface
  • Partial item deliveries with saved progress
  • Milestone-based objectives
  • Automatic permanent stat rewards
  • Manual claimable item rewards
  • Ordered fallback support for item rewards
  • Configurable prestige system
  • Default collections included
  • Fully playable without mandatory setup
  • Configurable milestones, multipliers, rewards, and collections
  • Designed with future multi-item collections in mind

Basic Gameplay Loop

  1. Discover an item to unlock its collection.
  2. Open the collections menu with /collections or /cm.
  3. Submit the required item.
  4. Fill the milestone progress bar.
  5. Earn permanent stats or claim item rewards.
  6. Complete the collection and prestige to start again.

Configuration

Collection Master includes sensible defaults so it can be installed and played immediately.

Server owners and modpack creators can customize:

  • Collection definitions
  • Required items
  • Milestone scaling
  • Reward lists
  • Permanent stat bonuses
  • Claimable item rewards
  • Prestige limits
  • Fallback item chains for better compatibility with custom content or other mods

Prestige

When a collection is fully completed, players can prestige it and begin progressing through the same milestones again.

Prestiging resets the collection progress, but previously earned permanent stat rewards are kept. This allows players to continue turning gathered resources into meaningful long-term progression.

Item Reward Fallbacks

Item rewards can define an ordered fallback chain. If the preferred reward item is unavailable, Collection Master can try the next configured item instead.

This is especially useful for servers and modpacks where optional mods may add or remove content over time.

Commands

  • /collections - Opens the Collection Master interface.
  • /cm - Short alias, if available.

Designed For

Collection Master is useful for:

  • Survival servers
  • RPG servers
  • Economy servers
  • Progression-focused modpacks
  • Long-term multiplayer worlds
  • Resource sink systems
  • Achievement-style gameplay
