About this project
What does Block Regen add?
BlockRegen
BlockRegen brings configurable block regeneration to your Hytale server: pick any block type, set a delay, and broken blocks come back on their own. Perfect for ore veins, resource nodes, flowers, or any farmable spot you don't want players permanently strip-mining.
Features
Per-block regeneration rules Set a delay for any block type in the game (vanilla or modded), in seconds, minutes, or hours:
/blockregen "Stone" 120
/blockregen "Stone" 90s
Floor requirement Make a block only respawn if there's solid ground beneath it, so nothing regenerates floating in mid-air after the surrounding terrain changes:
/blockregen "Poppy" 120 --floor
Random scatter radius Let a block respawn at a random valid spot within a set radius of where it was originally broken, instead of the exact same coordinate every time. Great for flowers, foliage, or anything that shouldn't respawn in a perfectly predictable grid:
/blockregen "Poppy" 120 --floor --radius 3
Live ghost preview The instant a configured block is broken, a transparent, collision-free preview appears at its spot with a floating countdown ("Regenerates in 45s"), visible only to players with the dedicated permission. A built-in overview for admins without needing a separate tool.
Anti-abuse protection Blocks placed by a player never regenerate when broken again, even if a rule exists for that block. So nobody can place a ruled block just to farm it for free. Admins can toggle a personal bypass (/blockregen admin) when they actually want their own placements to stay regenerable (e.g. rebuilding a vein or a decoration).
In-game management UI /blockregen list opens a full window listing every configured block, plus a panel to add a new rule for any block in the game via a searchable dropdown, no need to be looking at the block in-game.
Quick-target shortcut Looking at a block and just want to set a delay without typing its name? /blockregen 90s grabs whatever you're aiming at and asks for a Y/N confirmation in chat.
