About this project
What does Control Core add?
ControlCore gives server owners one in-game panel for everything they configure, and gives other mods a shared place to put their settings and key binds.
Beta (0.9.x) - back up
mods/OFATech_ControlCore/before updating. Requires Hytale server 0.7.2.
For server owners
/open-admin-config opens the control panel:
- Server Configs - every key of
config.json, read from Hytale's own config definition. Changes are saved at once; keys that only apply after a restart say so, and a reminder lists them until you restart. - Mod Settings - every setting other mods register with ControlCore.
- Player Prefs - your own preferences.
- Keymaps - the server's default keys and your own, plus your own key binds that run any command.
Also included:
- Search in every list, with a field filter (name, mod id, value, ...) and equals / starts with / contains / ends with (and their "doesn't" versions).
- Permissions per setting - let moderators see or change only some settings, categories or mods (
/cc-perm,/cc-perms,/cc-perm-check). - Key binds for commands, without writing a mod:
/cc-keybind-add warp-spawn ctrl+r warp spawn {player}Run as the player, or as the server (/cc-keybind-add-server). Works with Q, E, R, F, O, mouse buttons, hotbar 1-9 and combinations with Ctrl, Alt, Shift or Space - also with an empty hand. - Languages - English, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish, following each player's game language.
For players
/prefs opens your own preferences and key bindings.
For mod authors
Register typed settings (server-wide or per player), key actions and translated names through ControlCoreApi. ControlCore stores them, shows them in the panel, checks permissions and tells your mod when they change.
ControlCoreApi.find().ifPresent(api -> api.settings().register(
SettingDefinition.server("homes:max-homes", SettingType.integer(1, 50), 3)
.named("Max homes")
.inCategory("Homes")));
Maven: net.ofatech:controlcore on GitHub Packages. See the API docs.
Notes
- Hytale servers only receive game actions, not raw key presses, so keys like H, Tab or Caps Lock cannot be bound.
- HyUI is optional. Its current version (0.9.8) is not compatible with Hytale 0.7, so ControlCore uses its built-in panel.
- Source code and bug reports: GitHub (MIT license).
