Locks: Unofficial Version

This mod is an unofficial port of the locks mod, which has successfully migrated all functionalities of the original mod and fixed several bugs. Future updates will address balance issues within the mod.

Items

The mod adds various lock-related items and enchantments. Locks can be used to secure blocks, and players with the corresponding key ID can open the lock; otherwise, they will need to use a lockpick. The mod locks chests in the world generation, with a chance to have enchantments (configurable).

Lockpicking

The mod introduces a lockpicking mini-game. Players control the lockpick using movement keys to manipulate the lock pin; if the sequence is correct, the pin will pop up; otherwise, it won't, with a chance of damaging the lockpick. Players must find the correct sequence to lift the lock pins and unlock the lock. The higher the quality of the lock, the more pins it has, which is one of the mod's imbalances; the same applies to lockpicks.
