About this project

What does Ember's Floating Islands add?

This mod will add more than 25 magical floating islands to your world! All of them have a specific theme and most of them have some type of loot or dungeon waiting for you - a perfect fit for any modpack based on Floating Islands or just any fantasy theme in general!

Here is a list of the floating islands (some of them have multiple versions):

  • The Paradise Island: A small island with a pond, a field and basic loot. Pretty chill up there!
  • The Cherry Island: A huge Cherry Blossom Tree connected to a small shrine - there might be treasure here ...
  • The Pillager Island: A small pillager fortress with towers and deadly enemies.
  • The Tower Island: A rather big island with a tower, plenty of goods and a deadly enemy waiting up top ...
  • The Flower Island: Spawns with a hut, some loot and a waystone if Waystones is present!
  • The Nether Island: A floating island with a ruined portal!
  • The Ruined Island: Two islands with old ruins. Wonder how these buildings used to look like ... Comes with 3 different versions!
  • The Amethyst Island: A mysterious island made out of huge geodes. It is said to be haunted ...
  • The Shrine Island: A small island with a strange shrine ...
  • The Scientist's Workshop: This used to be a Scientist's workshop, but then a terrible accident happened.
  • The Villager Island: A small island with a hut. Two villagers have made this place their home (please don't take it from them). Comes with multiple versions!
  • The Shattered Island: An island only being held together by a few rusty chains. What purpose did it serve?
  • The Cemetery Island: An ancient island haunted by the undead ...
  • Floating Rocks: There are up to 5 variations of small floating rocks. One of them even comes with loot, the others are just used for decoration.

Compatibility

This mod has a few features that will only appear when specific mods are installed. Here's a list!

  • Waystones: If the Waystones mod is installed, the Flower Island and a few others may appear with a waystone ...
  • Paragliders: If you have the Paragliders mod installed, the second version of the Shrine Island will come with a Paraglider as loot!
