About this project

What does Horror Faces add?

UPDATE 6.0.1 (4/24/2026)

Horror Faces now supports NeoForge 1.21.1, with Forge 1.19.2 soon to come!
The mod has been approved on Modrinth! Feel free to get it over there if need be!
I have begun work on the Reimagined version. It is a new mod under this concept that will have events and special conditions.

Added SOUND back to the mod. I've wanted to add it back for a while, but it just didn't work. But now we can all finally experience those bone-chilling crackles.

This Minecraft mod plans to make the game feel scarier without being so over the top. In the current version of the mod, some faces will spawn at night or in caves and will either stalk you from afar or chase you down for blood.

In the current version, 11 different faces can spawn in your world and haunt you. They all have different spawn rates, with the one in the image being the most common. This mod is heavily inspired by one of Swayle's videos. I wanted to make it differently, so I made this mod to achieve more of what I wanted.

Because of how the entities are, the mod is great to run with pure darkness to better fit the immersion.

All Modpack Creators/YouTubers, you can freely use this mod in your Videos or Modpacks. Credit would be nice when due, but it isn't required from me.
