About this project
What does Soul Thievery add?
A magic mod that lets you reap souls of living creatures, and harness their power!
This mod is a heavy Work In Progress, some features are not working properly, and many things need to be added, but I hope I can get feedback from this beta version of the mod to help improve the final product. If you have any ideas to help improve the mod, please let me know. If you're confused on how to progress, try checking the achievements. I tried to add hints in them. Start by looking around at night for a few special mobs.
Mod currently adds:
- 2 New weapons
- A new metal, the Pale Alloy, which conducts soul energy very well
- A mask made with condensed soul energy
- A machine to condense soul energy into small coins
- A few types of souls, which can be eaten (Be careful)
- Stabilising souls (containing them in a thin shell of energy to craft with them)
- 2 New mobs.
- A new Villager, the Retired Reaper
Planned additions:
- Visual differences between the 4 weapons
- Adding customization options for the mask (and possibly scythe)
- Spells that can be cast using soul energy
- Guidebook to tell you how to progress
- Cloak to go with the mask
- Various charms/trinkets that provide different bonuses
- Belt that lets you equip the charms
- More ghostly enemies
- Preventing unstabalized souls from being stored in chests
- Adding a dedicated item to store souls in
- Thousands of bug fixes (I'm only slightly joking)
If you enjoy the mod, please let me know, it motivates me to keep working on it!
Yes, you can use this in modpacks, just ask me first.
