About this project

What does Alechemy add?

Brew your own beer in Minecraft!

Alechemy turns survival into a cozy craft-brewery. Biome water and real hop varieties shape each beer’s taste, so your world literally flavors your brew.

Gather & grow

  • Find Wild Grain Patches for early malt grains.
  • Farm new grains and hops.
  • Fill a Wooden Flask with biome water (Overworld, Nether, End) to add subtle character.

Prepare malts & hops

  • Use the Malting Kiln to create malt styles (pale, Munich, caramel, chocolate, wheat, etc.).
  • At the Hop Bagging Table, combine up to 5 hop items (same or mixed). They’re packed into Hops Bags with dynamic grams, alpha-acid %, and flavor stats based on your inputs.

Mash

  • In the Mash Tun, combine malt + water to make wort.

Boil

  • Move wort to the Boil Kettle and add Hops Bags. Bitterness follows hop AA% and boil time.

Cultivate yeast & ferment

  • Trade the Brewer Villager for Ale & Lager Yeast Cartridges (and more types).
  • Grow them on the Cultivation Bench and extract a Yeast Vial, then pitch it into the Fermentation Barrel.
  • ABV is calculated dynamically from wort sugar, yeast attenuation, and active fermentation time—allowing over- or under-fermentation if you leave it too long or pull it too early.
  • Let it mature and name your creation. Style hints come from water origin, malt profile, hop character, and boil choices.

Show & scale

  • Use the Brew Analyzer to see ABV, bitterness cues, and your beer’s water/malt/hop notes.

The Pattern Bottler (redstone) slowly duplicates a finished beer—perfect for stocking a tavern.
