Programmable Robots

📖 What's this mod?

You have a lot of farms which aren't fully automated. You need to do something for each one to work. You don't want to alternate farms every once in a while, as it can be quite inefficient and annoying.

This mod makes it possible to automate farms like this using programmable robots. You can now create a robot by placing a carved pumpkin on top of 2 iron blocks and right clicking on it to open up the action menu. For the robot to execute your actions at all, you also need a lunar panel block 35 blocks near the robot.

In the action menu, you can customise speciffically what it does at night.

You can also give it item(s) by either dropping them on the ground near the robot, or by right clicking the robot while crouching and dragging your item from the player inventory to the robot inventory.

💡 Note

You can only open these menus at daytime.

The specified actions get ran at night.

To use a teleporter, simply craft a teleporter block, place it down, charge it by right clicking with a packed ender pearl, and finally craft and use a teleporter item to teleport to them.

✅ Features:

  • Robot entity
  • Teleporter block
  • Teleporter item
  • Various actions for automation
  • An action type registry for developers to add custom actions

💡 Note

There is a bug where if you spawn a robot in 1.21.10 with a robot spawn egg,

you will get kicked out of the game.

This will DEFINITELY get fixed but I simply just don't know why this is happening.

For now, just spawn it with the block pattern instead (carved pumpkin above 2 iron blocks)
