About this project
What does Reinforced Singularity Rifle add?
Singularity Rifle
Singularity Rifle is an addon for Reinforced Black Holes that allows you to create black holes in the most practical way possible:
By shooting them out of a gun.
Requirements
Reinforced Black Holes 1.1.0 or newer
GeckoLib
Reinforced Black Holes provides the visual black hole effect, while this addon adds the rifle, ammunition system, crafting recipes, animations, and gameplay mechanics.
What does the mod add?
The mod adds:
The Singularity Rifle
Singularity Batteries
Custom shooting mechanics
Custom reload and charging mechanics
Survival crafting recipes
Dyeable rifle variants
Black hole projectiles and their destructive effects
Survival progression
The Singularity Rifle can be crafted in survival mode, but obtaining it is intentionally difficult.
You will need some of the most valuable resources in the game, including:
The Dragon Egg
Nether Stars
Other late-game materials
Because the recipe requires the Dragon Egg, normally only one rifle can be crafted in a world.
The weapon is powerful, but it is not free to use. Every shot consumes part of the rifle’s stored charge.
Charging the rifle
A fully charged Singularity Rifle can fire up to ten full-power shots.
The rifle is powered using Singularity Batteries:
Each battery stores enough energy for five full-power shots
The rifle can currently hold up to two batteries
Two fully charged batteries provide a total of ten full shots
Singularity Batteries are expensive to craft and require materials including a Nether Star and Bottles o’ Enchanting.
This means every shot has a real cost, even after you have successfully crafted the rifle.
Black holes
The rifle generates anomalies using the black hole effect provided by Reinforced Black Holes.
These are not completely realistic black holes. They are unstable errors in the game world, created through technology developed by a mysterious artificial intelligence.
The rifle is capable of controlling these anomalies, but its output is limited by its fuel supply and maximum power.
For now, this means you get impressive visual distortion, powerful projectiles, and moderately sized explosions rather than a black hole that consumes the entire world.
Probably for the best.
Development status
Singularity Rifle is still under development. Some effects, sounds, animations, balance values, and mechanics may be changed or replaced in future updates.
Additional ammunition types, rifle functionality, upgrades, and black hole behaviors may be added over time.
And yes—you can dye the rifle.
