About this project

What does TKVM_Enemies add?

Update 4.1

Massive overhaul to enemy logic, reactions, formations, and spawning.

Both factions now have 2 new enemies that are psuedo leaders of the faction.

The elites patrol the world and any units from their faction will join up with them and form a squad.

Reputation System

Reputation Counter

By default, both factions will not target the player unless they reach a negative reputation with either faction.

Factions will target you at -5 reputation.

You lose reputation by:

  • Killing any unit
  • Hitting a unit 5 times.

You can gain favor from either faction from

  • Killing the opposing faction (while they are being targeted by them)
  • Giving gold, emeralds, and diamonds to any entity of the faction.
  • Healing either faction a certain amount of health points.

After 5 infractions, that respective faction will target the player no matter what, and will no longer accept item donations to improve reputation.

Teams

Masons Mason Team

Agathians Agathian Team

Units

  • Archer - 20 HP, ranged, will switch to a dagger close range.
  • MAA - 45HP, dodge heavy, swift attacking unit.
  • Vanguard - 75hp, heavy hitter with large weapons. Medium armor negation
  • Knight - 50hp, high armor negation, with heavy hits.
  • Elite Knight - 200hp variant of Knight - Leads units into battle
  • Elite vanguard - 200hp variant of Vanguard - Leads units into battle

Village clashes

Village Clash

Factions will occasionally wage war over a village if a player is within it. Do be warned, they will slaughter an entire village if left unchecked.

The chance of a village clash increases the lower reputation you are with either faction.

If the reputation of both factions is +5 , you will never see a village clash. Every negative reputation point increases the chance by 10%.

You can disable this in the config. tkvm_enemies-common.toml

["Village Clash Settings"]
#Should elite forces dynamically clash in villages based on player reputation?
    enableVillageClashes = false

Dynamic Interactions

Units will dynamically emote depending on whats happening

  • Give thanks when assisting in a kill
  • Apologize for mistakenly damaging their teammates or the player
  • Call out incoming enemies
  • Taunt when winning a fight
  • Laugh at taunts or when a battle is won
  • Call for help at low health
