About this project

What does Epic RPG: Rarity System add?

Epic RPG: Rarity System

Epic RPG: Rarity System adds an RPG-inspired equipment progression system where weapons and armor can be upgraded through multiple rarity levels. Each rarity provides its own stat growth and stronger bonuses, giving players a clear path toward more powerful gear.

To begin this progression, players need Rarity Stones and Fusion Fragments. New rarities are unlocked by earning the achievement of that same rarity, and those achievements are obtained by successfully progressing equipment through the Reforge Table.

Rarity Fragments

Rarity Fragments are a key material used to increase the rarity level of weapons and armor. They can only be obtained from equipment that already has a rarity and is at least Tier +1.

Rarity Fragments are generated by deconstructing this gear inside the Salvage Inventory, which by default can be opened with the R key. When a rare item of Tier +1 or higher is deconstructed, it has a chance to grant a Rarity Fragment, making them one of the main resources for rarity progression and long-term growth.

Fusion Fragments

Fusion Fragments are an essential resource used to increase the Tier of weapons and armor. They are obtained by deconstructing equipment of Tier +1 or higher inside the Salvage Inventory, which by default can be opened with the R key.

The chance to obtain Fusion Fragments is 100%, but the amount gained depends on the Tier of the item: higher Tier gear yields more fragments, making high-Tier salvaging a powerful source of upgrade materials.

Reforge Tables

Reforge Tables upgrade the rarity of weapons and armor. Stronger forges are required to reach higher rarity tiers.

Each forge has a maximum rarity it can reach, so players must progress to better forges to continue upgrading their gear.

When an upgrade succeeds, the item loses half of its current Tier (for example, +15 becomes +7).

Tier Upgrade Table

The Tier Upgrade Table allows players to increase the Tier of their weapon or armor, enhancing its main stat and pushing the item closer to its full potential. Items can progress through 15 tiers, from +1 to +15.

Upgrade attempts may fail. From Tier 6 to Tier 15, a failed attempt lowers the item by one Tier, while Tiers 1 to 5 are protected from downgrades.

Reroll Table

The Reroll Table allows players to add or change the secondary stats of their equipment. These secondary attributes unlock as the item reaches higher Tier milestones.

Additional secondary stat slots become available at Tier 5, Tier 10, and Tier 15, giving players more control over how they customize and optimize their gear.

Lesser Protector

The Lesser Protector prevents your equipment from losing rarity when upgrading items of the lowest tiers, such as Common, Uncommon, and Rare. It is ideal for safely progressing early-game gear without risking a downgrade in rarity.

Greater Protector

The Greater Protector focuses on mid to late-game equipment. It protects Epic, Legendary, and Mythic items from rarity downgrades when an upgrade attempt fails, making it much safer to push valuable gear into higher rarities.

Supreme Protector

The Supreme Protector safeguards the highest tiers of equipment. It prevents Divine, Unique, and Ascendant items from losing rarity on failed upgrades, ensuring your top-end builds stay at their peak while you continue pushing their limits.
