What does Simple Bites add?

Simple Bites adds a collection of vanilla-style foods, drinks and a few small gameplay additions to Minecraft.

Most recipes use vanilla ingredients, and some foods can also be found through villagers, wandering traders or the world itself.

Some materials can now be used as fuel, including:

- Paper Fuel - paper, cane paper, maps, filled maps, banner patterns

- Leaves Fuel - leaves from various vanilla trees

- Book Fuel - books, books & quill, written books

- Plant Fuel - various vanilla plants and flowers

🎨 Other:**

  • Cane Sugar & Cane Paper

  • Vanilla ingredients are used for most recipes

  • Programmer Art compatibility (16x16)

  • Small bonus drops from some ores

Some ores have a small chance to drop extra nuggets or shards:

Iron: ~5% / ~6% in deepslate
Gold: ~4% / ~5% in deepslate
Copper: ~10% / ~12% in deepslate
Coal: ~15% / ~20% in deepslate
Brown Coal: ~20% / ~25% in deepslate

Fortune has no effect on ore bonuses.
