About this project

What does PureMash Tweaks add?

What is PureMash Tweaks?

Everyone! How are you doing?

I'm not sure where to start...

I imagine you find the name a bit "different," so I want to explain its origin right off the bat.

Well, as for why I chose this name "PureMash Tweaks", was common. I was playing vanilla Minecraft when the idea struck me to create something of my own. I started developing a version, a really early one that didn't have much in it. Then, guys, I began learning how to make a cool mod by watching tutorials. So, few weeks passed, and I finally managed it. I combined tech mechanics, keeping things simple. It was still pretty simple back then. The mod needed a name, something memorable. Since it had little content, I chose a name that echoed translations: "Pure" something that is "clean" (it's not that broken at the start; that's what I meant), while "Mash" means combining ideas. So, I’m not sure if it's cool, but I wanted to convey that my mod is a mashup of ideas,. I decided to combine "Pure" and "Mash" for a better sound. What do you think?

I didn't create PureMash Tweaks to be a mod that simply dumps a bunch of machines and items into the game. The idea was always to create something that fit into Minecraft without losing the game's essence, while still offering room for continued progression beyond the standard endgame.

So, folks, I really wanted to create a mod that gives freedom to modpack creators. That’s why in the configs of the mod there are configuration options, customizable recipes, and compatibility with tools like KubeJS, alongside integrations with other mods. The goal is for you to use PureMash Tweaks your own way, rather than simply having to accept everything exactly as it was originally designed.

That’s more or less what inspired me to create PureMash Tweaks.

It was made to add something, offer more possibilities, and, who knows, make your experience a little more interesting.

Thanks for visiting and trying out my mod. It might not be huge yet, but every part of it was created because I genuinely wanted to include it in Minecraft.

What do I mean by that?

It has a power generator that accepts everything from coal and redstone to the mod's own native ores, a chunk loader to keep certain chunks of your map loaded if you want, and of course a tank to move fluids around...

But for all that, we need a table more advanced than a vanilla crafting bench.

That's why I created the Synthesis Table.

It has a 9x9 crafting space, the same kind used by mods like Re: Avaritia and Extended Crafting.

It's not too hard to make.

To make the mod a bit more challenging, I created the PureMash Core, a chip that, since it's made from certain "creative" items, is also able to create other items at a creative level. In this case, you'll find a few creative items in the mod that the PureMash Core is able to make.

A pretty cool mechanic is the ability to make Singularities out of several items in the game. When you play, you'll see the default singularities. But you can also add your own.

How do I add a custom recipe?

PureMash Tweaks has its own JSON recipe system that works without KubeJS, but if you want to use it, it's not left out either. Just head over to my GitHub repository and you'll find all the recipe patterns for the mod's machines.

The simplest way to add recipes is to go into your modpack's or NeoForge instance's config folder:
C:\Users\you\curseforge\minecraft\Your Custom Modpack

Open the "PureMash Tweaks" folder inside config\PureMash Tweaks

There you'll find the folder for each machine, with a README and a sample recipe you can edit.

How do I get started with PureMash Tweaks?

PureMash Tweaks kicks off once you find Synthorium Debris in your world. It generates from layer -64 up to layer 0; but to craft the Synthorium Ingot, the base ore for a lot of the mod's recipes, you'll need 4 scraps and 4 Netherite Ingots.

Yeah, I know, it's pretty expensive. But it's worth it. At least until you get a seed or a bee that gives you infinite Netherite, right?

Which brings us to: which mods does PureMash Tweaks have compatibility with?

Remember that Netherite bee or seed? Right, the community mods I integrated into the mod were Productive Bees and Mystical Agriculture. That said, Productive Bees isn't marked as a direct dependency. Only Mystical is.

But remember Moldelonian? It's an ingot made by fusing other ingots together on the Synthesis Table. It's really powerful — at least by vanilla standards, since its damage and armor values are quite high.

I integrated Synthorium and Moldelonian's attributes into the Silent Gear mod. That way you can customize your tool however you like.

But that mod isn't a direct dependency either.

There are also Synthorium and Moldelonian seeds and bees.

Is that all?

Nope! PureMash Tweaks brings two universal cables, the Synthorium one and the Moldelonian one.

When you craft them, you'll notice they're a lot like Pipez. So, full credit to the creator of Pipez!

I took inspiration from its design and functions and built new functionality on top of that! The GUIs are pretty similar.

PureMash Tweaks also comes with Molten Synthorium and Molten Moldelonian.

To make these fluids, you'll need the Productive Metalworks mod installed. The recipes will show up as soon as PureMash Tweaks detects that the compatibility mods are installed.

PureMash Tweaks also has 2 new apples that give you effects when eaten. Want to give them a try?

PureMash Tweaks has an in-game GUIDE you can access. Just hold G; that's thanks to the GuideME mod, thanks guys!

I'm always open to ideas.

The port for version 1.21.1 is working in progress.

I don't have a set lore for my mod yet, but I'd love to build it together with you all!

Thanks for visiting my mod's page!
