About this project

What does Dragon Radars add?

Dragon radars for the ice and fire mod. It scans for dragons according to your filters and goes as far as 15,000 blocks but can go further if you go into the files and change the limit. FIlters include dragon filtering, stage filtering, gender filtering, distance filtering. If this gets a bit of traction i'll make it compatible with different loaders or versions. Leave me some feedback. Spent 3 straight weeks coding this. Compass spins clockwise when not tracking anything, and when tracking, points towards the dragon, spins counter-clockwise when your x and z axis are correct, but your y isn't which basically means you are above or below your tracked dragon. I made it so dead dragons won't appear which means if hp = 0 dragons dont appear but some dragons are glitched and still have an hp bar when they are dead, if you run into them, just harvest their bones so they don't appear again. IT WILL ONLY FIND DRAGONS IN GENERATED CHUNKS. YOU DON'T HAVE TO LOAD THE CHUNKS, THEY JUST HAVE TO BE PRE-GENERATED WITH A TOOL LIKE CHUNKY, OR JUST NATURALLY EXPLORE. OTHERWISE, IN A NEW WORLD, YOU WON'T FIND ANY DRAGONS IN UNRENDERED/UNLOADED/UNGENERATED CHUNKS SINCE THEY TECHNICALLY DONT EXIST UNTIL YOU LOAD THEM. IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE FLYING AROUND TO LOAD CHUNKS, USE A TOOL LIKE CHUNKY TO LOAD THEM IN THE BACKROUND. LINK: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/chunky-pregenerator-forge

INSTALLATION:

THIS MOD MUST BE INSTALLED ON CLIENT NO MATTER WHAT, SO ANYONE USING THE MOD MUST PUT IT IN THEIR MODS FOLDER FOR IT TO WORK, IF YOU ARE HOSTING SINGLEPLAYER OR SINGLEPLAYER+LAN, THE HOST OF THE LAN MUST HAVE IT IN THEIR MODS FOLDER AND THE PLAYERS ON THE SERVER ALSO MUST HAVE IT IN THEIR MODS FOLDER FOR IT TO WORK. ON A MULTIPLAYER SERVER, THE MOD MUST BE INSTALLED ON THE SERVER AND IN THE CLIENTS MODS FOLDER, ONCE AGAIN SAME CONCEPT.
