About this project

What does DyingCraft: Java Edition add?

'DyingCraft is a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition addon situated in a zombie apocalypse. A virus broke out and now the entire world is filled to the brim with infected. During the day you will encounter various infected, but with some good protection the threats during daylight pose a minor inconvenience. But during the night... chaos. When there is no light, restless predatory infected known as Nighthunters roam freely. When you are spotted... run. Protect villages from being infected, build shelter, be stealthy at night and, at all costs... Don't look back.
The Villagers are counting on you.'

And it's coming to Java!

DyingCraft: Java Edition is still a work in progress. Everything is subject to change! For a better experience, please play the Bedrock version.

DyingCraft: Java Edition is in Alpha and currently includes:

-Fully working Flashlight with battery system

-UV Flashlight without further functionality

-Reinforced Log (Coming to Bedrock soon)

-UV Lamp without further functionality

-Blood samples

-Injecting Needles

-Machete

-Infection effect

DyingCraft: Java Edition currently does NOT include:

-Any mobs

-Structures

Most items are not obtainable in survival yet, so it is recommended to play this mod in Creative mode. For recipes, see the Bedrock addon page (they are the exact same).

I hope you have fun testing my work! Feel free to suggest changes in my Discord Server, I'm planning to make this mod bigger and better than the Bedrock version! (Since the Bedrock engine can be a pain to work with, while Java gives a lot more freedom.)

DyingCraft: Java Edition is inspired by Dying Light. None of Techland's assets were used.
