About this project
What does Interval Bows add?
Savaru Interval Bows changes how bows are used in Minecraft by introducing an interval-based auto charge shooting system.
Instead of manually charging and releasing each shot, holding right-click will automatically:
- Play the full bow draw animation
- Release a fully charged shot
- Enter cooldown
- Repeat the process continuously
This system does NOT replace the original bow shooting logic.
Instead, it automatically releases the bow at full charge using the bow’s native shooting method, ensuring full compatibility with:
- Too Many Bows
- Modded arrows
- Custom bow effects
- Enchantments
- Special projectile behaviors
All modded bows will continue to fire their own unique arrows and retain their original mechanics.
Features:
✔ Hold-to-fire interval shooting
✔ Native bow shooting (no projectile replacement)
✔ Fully compatible with modded bows
✔ Cooldown bar after each shot
✔ In-game GUI configuration
✔ Works on all UseAction.BOW items
✔ Prevents block mining while holding a bow
Configurable in-game:
- Charge Time (ticks)
- Cooldown Time (ticks)
Default keybind:
O → Open Interval Bow Config
Configuration file:
.minecraft/config/intervalbow.json
