About this project

What does CombatSense add?

Description

CombatSense is a lightweight client-side mod designed to make PvP and survival gameplay clearer and more intuitive - without turning the game into a cheat experience.

The mod does not modify combat mechanics, automate actions, or interact with the server.
Instead, it visualizes information already available to the client to improve player awareness and reaction time.

⚔ Features

➤ Damage Direction Indicator

When you take damage, directional arrows appear around your crosshair showing where the attack came from.

Helps you react faster in chaotic fights and PvP situations.

➤ Visible Equipment Analysis

When looking at another player, the mod displays:

  • Armor type

  • Enchantment presence (glint only)

  • Weapon type

  • Totem in hand

⚠ The mod does NOT show hidden data such as:

  • Exact enchantments

  • Durability values

  • NBT data

➤ Combat Situation Assessment

CombatSense provides a simple advantage indicator:

🟢 Advantage
🟡 Even
🔴 High Risk

Based only on visible factors:

  • Health

  • Armor tier

  • Weapon type

  • Totem presence

No precise damage prediction or hidden calculations.

➤ Combat HUD

Optional awareness notifications:

  • Low health warning

  • Low armor durability warning

  • Attack cooldown visibility

  • Critical hit opportunity hint

➤ Useful Beyond PvP

Also improves survival gameplay:

  • Fall danger warning

  • Threat awareness cues

  • Clearer combat readability

🛡 Anti-Cheat Friendly

CombatSense:

✔ Client-side only
✔ Does not modify damage, reach, or mechanics
✔ No automation
✔ No packet manipulation
✔ No server interaction
✔ Uses only client-available data

Safe for multiplayer environments.

🎯 Philosophy

CombatSense doesn’t make you stronger.

It makes you more aware.

This is a decision-support mod - not a combat advantage mod.
