About this project
What does Cobblemon:Colonies add?
Cobblemon Colonies blends Minecolonies and Cobblemon together, introducing compatibility between the two, while also adding new builds to create the Cobblemon focused colony you've always wanted.
Key New Features There are 12 new buildings added in Cobblemon Colonies, consisting of your traditional Pokémon Center, Poké Mart, Day-care, Gyms, and other spins on traditional Minecolony structures.
**Colony Pasture **🛖 The Colony Pasture will accumulate Cobblemon drops based on a fully configurable drop table. No need to kill thousands of cows when your trusty Tauros can put in the work, providing you with as much beef and leather as you need. Requires a colonist to be instructed on what category of drop to collect and what tool to use.
Colony Daycare 🥚 The Colony Day-care acts as the typical day-care in any Pokémon game. Leave two compatible parent Cobblemon here to passively gain EXP and breed. Once they're done, collect the egg from the rack and start walking to crack open the Cobblemon inside. Leaving the mother (or non-Ditto parent) with an Everstone will cause the offspring to correspond to their regional form, i.e., having a female Alolan-Ninetales hold an Everstone will produce an Alolan-Vulpix rather than it's typical base form counterpart, along with inheriting their nature. A baby Cobblemon will inherit 3 random IVs form their parents, along with the mother's Poké Ball. Equip your Cobblemon with a Destiny Knot to pass down 5 IVs instead of 3, or use Power Items - like the Power Bracer or Anklet - to guarantee a specific stat is inherited. Egg speeds are completely configurable and a brand new Sparkling Power system allows you to give your Cobblemon held items that correspond with a chance of a shiny egg; Amethyst Shards = Level 1, Emeralds = Level 2, Diamonds = Level 3, and Nether Stars = Level 4. Breeding two Pokémon from different original trainers massively boosts their shiny odds, referred to as the Masuda Method.
** Trainer Academy **🏫 Place your party Cobblemon inside the Trainer Academy and it'll gradually have it's EVs boosted. Providing a bottlecap from the numerous compatible mods allows for max IV training at a reduced cost in exchange for a longer wait time.
**Recovery Center **🏥 Heal your Cobblemon at the Recovery Center. Every medical bay has to be ran by a nurse, accompanied by their Cobblemon companion Blissey, Chansey, or Comfey. With Radical Cobblemon Trainers installed, the Recovery Center will bring in trainers to your colony for you to battle against.
Apricorn Plantation 🍎 An Apricorn Plantation acts as your standard farm, offering a plane for your colonists to harvest apricorns on.
Capture Ball Workshop 🛠️ Automate your Poké Ball production at the Capture Ball Workshop. The Ball Smith will take your apricorns and ingots to craft any type of Poké Ball you request. Each upgrade offers a wider pool of Poké Balls to craft: Level 1: Poké Ball Level 2: Fast Ball, Great Ball, Level Ball, Lure Ball, Safari Ball Level 3: Friend Ball, Heavy Ball, Love Ball, Quick Ball Level 4: Ultra Ball Level 5: Master Ball
Science Lab 🥼 Send off a scientist to explore mystical sites at the Science Lab. These expeditions bring back numerous different items, including rocks, ores, and fossils, but come with a risk. Not every scientist is guaranteed to come back safely.
Cobblemon Guard Tower 🛡️ Hire up to 5 guardsmen and women to patrol your colony alongside their Cobblemon partners. Guards start off with a simple Growlithe, but as the tower is upgraded, their pool of Cobblemon becomes more diverse and powerful. Level 1: Growlithe Level 2: Pikachu, Corphish Level 3: Weepinbell, Scyther, Croagunk, Level 4: Arcanine, Victreebel, Sealeo, Magneton Level 5: Raichu, Crawdaunt, Scizor, Toxicroak, Walrein, Magnezone, Stoutland, Gigalith Each level will have their own new Cobblemon, along with Cobblemon from the previous tiers, or their evolved counterparts.
**Battle Arena **⚔️ Watch as the world morphs around you while you battle iconic gym leaders in the Battle Arena. You'll be warped to a new environment, staples to their respective leader, and engage in challenging battles for gym badges. Offers complete support with Radical Cobblemon Trainers to follow in your progression within the mod.
Miracle Exchange 🤝 Ever wanted to Wonder Trade in a singleplayer world? Now you can simulate just that at the Miracle Exchange. Trade a Pokémon and wait to receive a random one in exchange, tied to tier upgrades, shiny rolls, and VIP luck boosts. This trading system comes with a strict rarity-matching basis, only allowing for the same tier of Cobblemon to be exchanged, i.e., a legendary for a legendary, and an ultra beast for an ultra beast, with a small chance of upgrading to the next rarity. With Radical Cobblemon Trainers installed, the Wonder Trade will fit your badge progress and tie itself to your level cap, making anything you receive immediately usable.
**Trainer Mart **🛒 At the Trainer Mart, you can browse a plethora of items in exchange for emeralds. The Mart is fully configurable, allowing server owners to implement full economics within a colony. The shop is also completely compatible with PokéDollars, allowing for them to be configurable alongside the mod.
Cobblemon Ranger 🏹 The Cobblemon Ranger will patrol the colony, passively observing the local wildlife. Every now-and-then, if you give them a visit, they will reward you for keeping your Pokémon happy with special Pokémon eggs.
