About this project

What does Defendable Remastered add?

Defendable

Build stronger, smarter defenses for your base with layered frame blocks designed for PvE survival. Instead of relying on a single block for protection, Defendable introduces a stacked durability system where blocks contain multiple hidden layers that must be broken one by one.

This allows your defenses to gradually weaken rather than instantly fail.

Layered Frame System

Defendable adds a progression of Frame Blocks that represent increasing levels of structural reinforcement.

Frames Included

  • Wooden Frame

  • Plank Frame

  • Plywood Frame

  • Cobble Frame

  • Reinforced Cobble Frame

  • Double Reinforced Cobble Frame

  • Deepslate Frame

  • Iron Frame

  • Reinforced Iron Frame

  • Double Reinforced Iron Frame

  • Diamond Frame

  • Reinforced Diamond Frame

  • Double Reinforced Diamond Frame

  • Netherite Frame

  • Obsidian Frame

  • Reinforced Obsidian Frame

  • Double Reinforced Obsidian Frame

Each time a frame is broken, it downgrades into the previous tier instead of disappearing.

This means a single block can contain up to 17 total durability layers, turning one block space into a gradually weakening defensive barrier.

Upgrade Materials

Frames are upgraded using compressed upgrade materials crafted from common resources.

Conversion

  • 2 base resources → 16 Upgrade Material

  • 8 Upgrade Material → 1 base resource

Upgrade materials include:

  • Wood Upgrade Material (Planks)

  • Stone Upgrade Material (Cobblestone)

  • Deepslate Upgrade Material (Cobbled Deepslate)

  • Iron Upgrade Material (Iron)

  • Diamond Upgrade Material (Diamond)

  • Netherite Upgrade Material (Netherite)

  • Obsidian Upgrade Material (Obsidian)

These materials are used to progressively reinforce frame blocks.

Upgrading & Downgrading Tools

Defendable introduces several specialized tools for modifying frame tiers.

Wrenches (Upgrade Tools)

Used to upgrade wood-based frames.

  • Iron Wrench

  • Diamond Wrench

  • Netherite Wrench

Crowbars (Downgrade Tools)

Used to downgrade wood-based frames and recover the full cost.

  • Iron Crowbar

  • Diamond Crowbar

  • Netherite Crowbar

Breaking frames normally will return reduced materials, but using the proper downgrade tool returns the exact amount invested.

All frames can also be picked up with Silk Touch.

Structural Hammers

Hammers upgrade stone and higher tiers.

  • Stone Hammer – upgrades from Stone → Iron tiers

  • Iron Hammer – upgrades from Stone → Diamond tiers

  • Diamond Hammer – upgrades from Stone → Netherite tiers

  • Netherite Hammer – upgrades all non-wood tiers

Precision Chisels

Chisels allow controlled downgrading of higher-tier frames, but require a Hammer in the off-hand.

  • Stone Chisel – downgrades Iron → Stone

  • Iron Chisel – downgrades Diamond → Stone

  • Diamond Chisel – downgrades Netherite → Stone

  • Netherite Chisel – downgrades all non-wood tiers

This system prevents accidental downgrades and ensures intentional structural changes.

Designed for PvE Defense

Defendable is built around the idea that defenses should fail gradually instead of instantly.

With multiple durability layers inside every block, bases become more resilient against mobs and sustained attacks, giving players time to react as structures weaken over time.
