What does AutoTorch [Auto Torch] add?
Client-side quality-of-life mod that automatically places a torch at your feet when it gets too dark. It is perfect for exploring caves, mines, and large dark structures where you want automatic lighting without the hassle of constantly placing torches manually.
Client-side only (no server installation required). Fully compatible with singleplayer.
What it does:
- Automatically checks the light level at your position.
- Places a torch under you when the local light drops below your configured threshold.
- Automatically pulls torches directly from your hotbar, offhand, or anywhere in your inventory.
- Prevents placement if there is no valid support block under your feet.
- Lets you toggle the feature on or off quickly using a custom keybind.
Configuration: You can customize the mod's behavior through the in-game configuration screen in the mod list menu.

Available settings:
- Enable or disable auto torch placement.
- Only place torches when standing on the ground.
- Restore the previous hotbar slot after placing a torch from the inventory.
