About this project

What does Rhenium add?

This is a memory optimization mod.

It limits and evicts the structure template cache to reduce unnecessary memory usage during normal gameplay and lower long-term runtime pressure.
In testing, it reduced memory usage by around 20%.
This optimization does not break structure integrity or structure generation, so it is safe to add to your modpack/server.
The default cache limit in the config is 128.
Lower values reduce memory overhead further, but if set too low, they may introduce extra CPU load.
