About this project

What does Superstitious Totem add?

🕯️ Superstition

Superstition is a dark survival-focused Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.10/1.21.11 that introduces a new way to cheat death — at a dangerous cost.

Instead of relying on a Totem of Undying in your hand, you can place your faith in a Totem Altar — a mystical structure that watches over you. When fatal damage is dealt, the altar will sacrifice a stored Superstition Totem to save your life automatically, even from a distance.

But this power is not without consequences.

⚔️ Core Mechanics

The altar activates within a 20-block radius, saving you without requiring any item in hand.

On activation, you are restored to 50% health and receive a small boost of hunger and saturation.

Each activation consumes one Superstition Totem stored inside the altar.

You are afflicted with Evil Eye for 60 seconds, increasing all incoming damage by 1.5×.

🏛️ Totem Altar

Insert a totem by right-clicking with it Retrieve it with an empty hand Visually indicates whether a totem is stored Activates automatically when needed

📦 This mod is perfect For

Hardcore and semi-hardcore playthroughs Modpacks focused on survival difficulty Players who want a more balanced alternative to Totems of Undying

"The altar will save you. Just don’t expect it to come for free."
