Where it goes
Is SimpleWand required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does simplewand-fabric-1.1.jar need?
simplewand-fabric-1.1.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Architectury API, Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does SimpleWand add?
SimpleWand
I made this because WorldEdit is too much. I just wanted to fill a box with stone or replace dirt with grass without reading a wiki for an hour. So here we are.
How it works: Type /sw wand and you get a wooden axe. Left-click a block to set Pos1. Right-click a block to set Pos2. Then run something like /sw fill stone. That's it.
Every command explains itself. /sw help shows the list. /sw help fill tells you what fill does. Block names auto-complete with TAB so you don't have to remember any IDs.
NEW: Axiom-style creator menu
- Press TAB (in creative) to open the creator menu.
- 9 hotbar pages stacked on top of each other. Switch with the scroll-wheel inside the menu, or click a row.
- Fly speed slider with live preview (10% to 500% of vanilla fly speed).
- Gamemode buttons (Survival / Spectator / Adventure). Opening the menu auto-switches OPs to Creative.
- Auto-centered, scales with any window size.
NEW: Extra wand slot right of the hotbar
- An extra slot right of slot 9, holds a wooden axe by default.
- Scroll past slot 9 to enter the wand slot, scroll again to wrap to slot 1. Cyclic both ways.
- The wand stack persists in NBT (per player, world-saved).
- While wand is active, slot 9's original item stays visible in slot 9 — the wand only appears in the extra slot.
- Slot only shows in creative. Hidden in survival / adventure / spectator.
Wand restrictions
- Wand pos1 / pos2 only register in creative or spectator. Survival and adventure ignore wand clicks (so you can use a real wooden axe to chop wood).
- Still requires OP / cheats.
Commands: /sw wand — gives you the wooden axe /sw pos1 — sets Pos1 where you stand /sw pos2 — sets Pos2 where you stand /sw info — shows your current selection and its size /sw fill <block> — fills the box /sw clear — clears the box /sw walls <block> — only the 4 side walls /sw hollow <block> — hollow box (walls + floor + ceiling) /sw replace <from> <to> — swap one block for another /sw sphere <radius> <block> — sphere around you /sw cube <radius> <block> — cube around you /sw undo — undo the last action (up to 5 steps)
Help texts are in German and English.
Works on Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric and Forge. Needs Architectury API. Fabric build also needs Fabric API. You need OP / cheats on.
No clipboards, no schematics, no brushes, no scripting. If you need that stuff, use WorldEdit. This is for people who just want to build.
