Provisioner’s Delight

🥫 Provisioner’s Delight is a food expansion mod for Minecraft themed around preserved foods and rations.

It adds a variety of preserved foods, including canned goods, bottled goods, rations, instant noodles, crackers, hardtuck, and beverage cans.

This mod goes beyond simply adding food; it also focuses on efficient transportation and storage.

Many preserved foods can be compressed into crates, allowing for compact transportation and storage in large quantities, and they can also be placed directly on the ground.

It transforms survival life into a more practical and immersive experience, enabling long-distance expeditions, warehouse management, large-scale logistics, and emergency stockpiling.

Hardtuck, in particular, can be compressed in stages:

Hardtuck Wooden Crate

A single final wooden crate can hold a whopping 512 pieces of hardtuck.

Furthermore, one stack can carry a remarkable 32,768 pieces of Hardtack.

Hardtack is also designed for off-hand use.

When eating soups, stews, or other liquid dishes, you can quickly dip the Hardtack in your off-hand and eat them together.

It recreates the ruggedness and practicality of a preserved food culture.

In addition, canned goods cannot be opened without a can opener, and used cans and beverage containers can be melted down and recycled into iron ingots.

You can enjoy the entire process from food production to consumption and reuse.

Jam also has practical uses; it can be spread on bread or Hardtack.

Cookies also come with dedicated cookie packaging, further enhancing the feel of portable and preserved food.

All rations come with a bonus: eating them grants a nutritional buff for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
