About this project
What does Modified! - Item Modifiers add?
Modified! introduces a highly flexible, data-driven gear modification system designed to fit cleanly into vanilla gameplay mechanics. Powered entirely by datapacks, it gives players absolute control over item rules, custom tiers, and dynamic scaling attributes.
Modifiers can be created, deleted and modified entirely through JSON files. It also allows attributes from other mods to be utilized. Tiers have built-in visual effects that can be modified via config globally as well as through per-tier JSONs.
The mod only adds a single block, the Reforging Table. The Reforging Table allows players to reroll their Modifiers as well as Ascending their Items to the next Tier.
Modifiers and Tiers are rolled during Loot generation (skeletons dropping bows, end city loot chests etc). For existing items, you may use the Reforging Table.
There are default modifiers for gameplay as well as for players to reference when making their own. Modifiers are hotswappable and only require you to rejoin the world.
Known Incompatibilities:
Visual Workbench (Reforging Table gets overriden)
ImmediatelyFast (Disable font_atlas_resizing, hud_batching and fast_text_lookup in immediatelyfast.json)
