About this project
What does Game Sync add?
☁️ Game Sync
Never lose a world. Play from anywhere.
Game Sync is a client-side mod that backs up your singleplayer worlds to cloud storage automatically. Whether you're switching machines or just want a safety net against corrupted saves, your worlds stay in sync without any manual effort. Your data goes directly to your own cloud account using OAuth — no third-party servers, no subscriptions, and nothing to host.
Features
- Cloud sync — worlds are pushed to and pulled from your own cloud storage
- Autosave sync — optionally trigger a cloud sync after every autosave cycle
- Threaded transfers — files are uploaded in parallel for faster sync on large worlds
- Resilient uploads — per-file retry logic keeps syncs from failing on unstable connections
- In-game config screen — configure everything through Mod Menu without touching a config file (Fabric only)
- Client-side only — no server-side installation needed
