About this project
What does B'Quarry add?
B'Quarry
B'Quarry has grown from a single automatic mining machine into a complete technical mod for Minecraft Forge and Fabric.
Build automated processing lines, generate and store energy, transport items and fluids, configure machine inputs and outputs, and upgrade your Quarry into a powerful late-game resource system.
Main Features
- Available for both Forge and Fabric
- Automatic and fully upgradeable Quarry
- Energy generation, storage and distribution
- Automated ore processing
- Item and fluid transportation networks
- Configurable machine input and output sides
- Support for automation with inventories, hoppers and other mods
- JEI and EMI recipe integration
- Guided advancement progression
- Custom industrial textures, interfaces, recipes and tooltips
- English and Brazilian Portuguese translations
The Quarry
The Quarry automatically mines blocks in the direction it is facing and stores the collected resources in its internal inventory.
Its features include:
- Directional automatic mining
- Visible mining-area boundaries
- Large internal output inventory
- Automatic output to inventories placed above it
- Buffered resources are transferred before newly mined drops
- Redstone control for pausing and resuming
- External energy support
- Upgrade slots dedicated to Quarry progression
Quarry Upgrades
Drilling Upgrades
Increase the mining speed of the Quarry. There are ten increasingly powerful and expensive tiers.
Fortune Upgrades
Increase the number of resources obtained through normal mining and improve the rewards produced by Void Upgrades. There are ten tiers.
Area Upgrades
Increase the Quarry's mining area:
- Level I: 5×5
- Level II: 9×9
- Level III: 16×16
- Level IV: 24×24
- Level V: 32×32
Silk Touch Upgrade
Allows the Quarry to collect blocks using Silk Touch. It requires an enchanted Silk Touch book to craft.
Void Upgrades
Allow the Quarry to generate resources without destroying blocks in the world.
- Void I provides basic resource generation
- Void II adds Nether-related resources
- Void III provides access to rarer resources
The final Void tier is intended as an expensive endgame upgrade.
Anchor Upgrade
Keeps the Quarry and its working area active even when the player moves away.
Power Generation
B'Quarry includes three different generators:
Combustion Generator
Produces energy from furnace-compatible fuels. It is an accessible option for early automation.
Magmatic Generator
Produces energy from lava and offers a stronger, more consistent source of power.
Solar Generator
Produces energy from sunlight. It is designed as a clean late-game generator and can be improved with Generator Power Upgrades.
All generators can connect to B'Quarry energy cables and compatible energy systems from other mods.
Energy Storage
Modular Energy Cell
Stores and distributes energy.
Connected Energy Cells automatically combine into a larger storage network, allowing the system to grow without requiring a separate multiblock controller.
Processing Machines
Electric Furnace
Uses energy to process standard furnace recipes and supports automatic item input and output.
Electric Crusher
Crushes raw materials and ores into products used by the processing chain.
Industrial Washer
Processes crushed minerals into refined dusts and may produce additional tiny dust byproducts.
Industrial Press
Produces metal plates, gears and other compressed components.
Automatic Assembler
Automatically crafts configured recipes using ingredients supplied through its inventory or connected automation.
Fluid System
Electric Pump
Uses energy to collect fluid source blocks below it and sends the collected fluid through connected tanks or fluid cables.
Modular Fluid Tank
Stores fluids and automatically combines its capacity with adjacent B'Quarry tanks.
Fluid Cables
Transfer fluids between pumps, tanks, machines and compatible fluid handlers.
Transport Networks
Energy Cables
Transfer energy between generators, storage cells, machines and compatible blocks from other mods.
Item Cables
Move items between inventories and machines. Connections can be configured for insertion or extraction.
Fluid Cables
Move fluids between compatible tanks and machines.
Cable connections can be changed with the Quarry Wrench.
Item Filters
The reusable Item Filter tool configures which items an item-cable connection may transfer.
Items can be selected directly from the inventory or dragged from supported recipe viewers such as JEI and EMI. The configured item is not consumed.
Machine Upgrades
Processing machines and generators have their own dedicated upgrades:
- Machine Speed Upgrades increase processing speed
- Energy Efficiency Upgrades reduce machine energy consumption
- Generator Power Upgrades increase energy production
- Fuel Efficiency Upgrades extend the value of consumed fuel
Multiple copies can be installed to strengthen their effect.
Quarry Wrench
The Quarry Wrench is the main configuration tool for machines and networks.
It can be used to:
- Rotate the Quarry
- Reset the Quarry's mining area
- Configure or disconnect cable connections
- Interact with supported machine sides
Machine I/O
Compatible machines include a side-configuration interface.
Each face can be configured for input, output or disabled operation, allowing machines to work with:
- B'Quarry item and fluid cables
- Hoppers and vanilla inventories
- Compatible pipes and automation systems from other mods
Energy Compatibility
Forge
B'Quarry uses Forge Energy and can exchange power with compatible Forge machines, generators, batteries and cables.
Fabric
B'Quarry uses Team Reborn Energy and can exchange power with compatible Fabric technology mods.
The Team Reborn Energy API is bundled inside the Fabric file and does not need to be installed separately.
