About this project
What does Infectious Patch add?
Infectious Lootdrop Message Patch
An unofficial, unaffiliated companion mod for Infectious (not made, endorsed, or supported by the original Infectious author). This mod exists solely to fix one specific bug: the Lootdrop's spawn announcement (tellraw and sound cue) ignored the enableLootdrops gamerule entirely, so it played even when the gamerule was set to false. This patch makes it so that no message displays when the lootdrop is summoned. This mod also disables all hardcoded entity death drops mod-wide so loot can be rebuilt cleanly through LootJS or real loot tables instead.
Requires Infectious - Zombie Apocalypse
This mod does not connect lootdrop spawning to the gamerule. To disable the lootdrop entity, you can use the mod: Bad Mobs
Made for the modpack: Apocalypse Begins [Zombie Apocalypse]
Example Showcase
Without the mod: Regardless of whether the gamerule is enabled, the entity spawns and the message, "A nearby Lootdrop will land!" displays.

With the mod: Regardless of whether the gamerule is enabled, the entity spawns. However, the message does not display, corresponding to the gamerule.
