About this project

What does Aetherwinds Enchant Patches add?

A small server-side compatibility patch for [Enhanced Enchanting], rebalancing several enchantments that were significantly overtuned for PvP/survival play.

What it changes:

  • Serial Killer and Rushdown — reduces the post-kill buff duration per enchantment level, so a killing streak no longer grants an extended, near-permanent combat buff.
  • Storm Caller — lowers the chance of triggering its lightning strike effect on hit.
  • Shield Buster — changes its shield-ignoring effect from guaranteed to a percentage chance, so shields remain a viable defense.

This mod requires Enhanced Enchanting installed to function — it does not add any new content on its own, only modifies the behavior of that mod's existing enchantments via targeted patches. It's intended for modpack authors who want Enhanced Enchanting's mechanics without some of its more extreme balance outliers.

No configuration is currently exposed; values are fixed at build time.
