About this project
What does One and Only add?
One and Only is a biome overhaul mod made to breathe new life into your deserts (and badlands).

The Trees
This mod introduces two NEW wood sets to change up your building palette:
Zaytun: These are short, stubby trees featuring a wood color that sits somewhere between black and prismarine. They come with elegant door and trapdoor designs!
Flamepalm: A bright yellow wood set that stands out in the desert, complete with tropical doors and trapdoors.
Foods and Items
This mod adds a variety of food items:
Olives: Harvested from Zaytun leaves (roughly one per ten leaves). You can turn these into olive oil, which is then used to craft functional olive oil lamps.
Maryam Dates: A new fruit that grows on Flamepalm trees, and funfact! it's a real world fruit grown in Medina, Saudi Arabia!
Ajwa Dates: These are the rare, golden counterpart to Maryam dates. Eating one grants you the Poison Antidote effect that lasts for a full 20 minutes.
Zamzam Water Bottles: These are not your ordinary drink. When consumed, you can pick any combination of one positive and one negative effect. While standard potions are easier to obtain, Zamzam water is a powerful alternative for when you haven't traveled to the Nether to start brewing yet. BUT, they only spawn in desert temples.
Blocks and Mechanics
Beyond the foodie goodness, this mod adds many new decorative and functional blocks:
Cactus: You can now strip cactuses to collect Cactus Spines. These are a replacement for flint when crafting arrows. You can also place them down to create deadly traps or spikes for your palisades. If you use a bottle on a stripped cactus, you can dry it out to collect water.
Illumina: This is a new, crystalline ore found throughout the overworld, not just the desert. It functions similarly to quartz and provides a huge blockset and functional blocks. Gem Casing can hold gem blocks like blocks of diamonds, which I designed to make museum displays of your riches. And weight machines are actually full block pressure plates, because we all know how annoying it is to see those plates bulging out of the ground. BUT weight machines only come in sandstone and red sandstone variants because it would be really overpowered if you could put it in grass, but you can carpet it!
Marble: This is a new igneous rock that feature a new blockset, and a projectile, marble pellets.
Henna Bushes: A new crop that drops henna blossoms. These can be crafted into henna clumps, which can be turned into decorative blocks of henna or smelted into henna bricks. These bricks come with their own full sets of stairs, slabs, and chiseled variants.
Tumbleweed: A new item for crafting string that can also be placed on every block with a solid top, not just full blocks but not blocks like comparators either, but blocks like upside down slabs and stairs.
