About this project
What does Squadtp add?
Squad Teleport
A squad-based utility mod that lets you form parties, track teammates, teleport around, and revive fallen allies — bringing Battlefield-style squad play to Minecraft.
Features
Squad Management
Create a squad, invite friends (or let them send a join request), promote a new leader, kick members, or disband the squad entirely. Up to 4 members per squad by default (configurable). Switching squads is supported — accepting a new invite automatically leaves your old squad.
Teleport & Rally
Teleport directly to a squad member, or set a rally point for the whole squad to gather at. Configurable cooldowns, costs (XP or items), safe-landing checks (avoids suffocation/lava), and cross-dimension permissions.
Down & Revive System
Instead of dying instantly, take a knee. Nearby squadmates can revive you by holding right-click — or give up early if help isn't coming. While downed you're visible to squadmates through walls, movement and actions are restricted, and spawning near a downed player is blocked to prevent spawn-camping. Fully configurable: down duration, revive time, health restored on revive, post-revive invulnerability, and revive range.
Combat Tagging
Recently took damage? TP and spawn-on-member are temporarily blocked, so you can't cheese fights by teleporting away mid-combat. Cooldown duration is configurable.
Smart Respawn Selection
On death, choose where to respawn — in place, at your rally point, or near a squadmate — with a live minimap overlay if JourneyMap is installed, or a simple radar view if not. Includes coordinates, distance, and dimension info for each option.
In-Game Squad Panel
Press a key to open a full squad management panel: member list with health/distance, one-click teleport/kick/promote, rally point controls, and pending join requests — no need to memorize commands.
Optional Integrations (soft dependencies — the mod works fine without them)
- JourneyMap: squad members and rally points shown live as waypoints on your map
- TACZ: shooting is disabled while downed
- SuperbWarfare: shooting is disabled while downed
Server Admin Controls
Server operators can enable/disable individual features at runtime with /squad admin, without needing a restart — useful for tuning gameplay or temporarily disabling something during an event.
Team-Aware
Optional integration with vanilla scoreboard teams — restrict squad membership to players on the same team, useful for PvP servers running team-based modes.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Forge 47.3.12+
Optional (soft dependencies)
- JourneyMap (1.20.1-5.9.x – 5.10.3)
- TACZ
- SuperbWarfare

Notes
This mod is server-authoritative — all actions are validated server-side to prevent spoofing. All player actions go through commands, with no client-to-server packets involved in gameplay logic.
Built for cooperative survival and PvP servers alike. Feedback and bug reports welcome!
