About this project
What does Echoes of Harmony add?
Echoes of Harmony
This is unapologetically a cheat mod. It gives the player enormous powers, rich world generation, instant construction and peaceful, overpowered exploration. Balance has been informed of the situation and declined to attend.
Echoes of Harmony began as a mod for my daughters, based on characters, places and magical objects from the stories we tell together. It has grown into a personal all-in-one adventure and building mod for Minecraft 26.1.2.
Pearl of Harmony
Keep the Pearl anywhere in your inventory or in the optional Curios charm slot. Ordinary hostile mobs will not attack unless provoked; bosses remain immune.
Right-click to cycle through six blessings:
- Air: Speed II, Jump Boost III, Slow Falling, fall immunity and directional flight.
- Earth: Haste III, Resistance II, knockback immunity and 7x7 Void Excavation that preserves ores and constructed blocks.
- Water: Water Breathing, Dolphin's Grace, Conduit Power, normal underwater mining and infinite source-water placement.
- Fire: immunity to fire, lava and magma, faster lava swimming, no flame overlay and an infinite flint-and-steel action.
- Light: Night Vision, Regeneration III, Saturation, Fortune III and removal of harmful effects.
- Dark: Strength III, virtual Smite V and Looting III, life steal, safe Shadow Step and disposal of tagged terrain pickups.
Sneak + left-click invokes the Sky Trumpets, discarding nearby ordinary hostile mobs and projectiles without drops or experience.
Avalonia
The Compass of Passage travels to a random safe location in permanently bright, peaceful Avalonia. The dimension combines:
- organic regions containing compatible vanilla and modded biomes;
- Tectonic terrain when installed, with a vanilla fallback;
- large chained lakes made from compatible registered fluids;
- dense mixed vegetation and triple ore generation;
- towering double ore helixes and weighted Ender Pearl Ore;
- vanilla and modded structures, including rare surface dungeons;
- dimension-wide movement, flight, protection, underwater and Fortune-style benefits;
- stronger rejection of hostile and otherwise non-peaceful mobs.
Placement stones and building tools
Abbey Stone
Places a 65x81 Gothic abbey ruin with church, cloister, gatehouse, bell tower, cemetery, furnished living wing, workshop and three crypt levels. Lootr is supported when present.
Castle Stone
Places a large ruined castle with dry moat, breached walls, gatehouse, courtyard, chapel, smithy, six-storey keep, copper roofs, towers and a cursed three-level dungeon ending in a treasure vault.
Observatory Stone
Places a compact but tall ruined observatory of deepslate, calcite, copper and amethyst around an open central shaft, with library, alchemy floor, elemental alcoves and cellar laboratory.
All three structures shape the surrounding ground, extend foundations to real terrain and use placement-seeded weathering. Their full buildings appear as translucent ghost previews before placement.
The Measuring Tape pins a build location and facing so you can inspect the preview from every side. It can also outline a configurable custom box.
Expanse Tank and Pump
- The portable Expanse Tank stores one fluid at a time, up to 2,000,000 buckets.
- Its GUI supports buckets and persistent auto-output, while the glass core displays the stored fluid and fill level.
- Both machine GUIs include a red control for voiding their internal stored fluid.
- The redstone-driven Expanse Pump drains the nearest connected lake into an adjacent tank or reverses to fill the nearest enclosed basin.
- Different overlapping fluids are kept separate.
- Drain and fill operations proceed from the bottom upward, with fluid-coloured ghost previews available from the GUI.
Gerard's Cryptidsdex
Scan living creatures to record their registry id, source mod, health, armour, effects, disposition and Harmony interaction. Browse persistent observations with a rotatable 3D model and Gerard's field notes. The Creative Cryptidsdex contains every registered creature immediately.
Automatic farms
- The Automatic Tree Farm plants saplings across a 31x31 plantation, handles both ordinary and giant 2x2 trees, directly breaks connected logs and leaves, stores their drops and replants.
- The Automatic Crop Farm tills and hydrates its own 15x15 field with four source-water blocks, supports standard modded crop ages, and also handles sugar cane, cactus, bamboo, pumpkins and melons.
- Ostara's Living Garden, inspired by the goddess who planted the flowering Deku Tree, consumes bone meal to grow exact copies of flowers, mushrooms, moss, vines, berries, coral, seeds, saplings, leaves and modded bonemealable plants without a field.
- The Tree and Crop Farms collect loose drops; all three plant machines expose standard NeoForge item capabilities for pipes.
- Pre-filled Pocket Storage Units inside any farm or output machine receive matching drops before its internal 54 slots.
- Compatibility is driven by vanilla tags and growth APIs, with conservative name fallbacks for imperfectly tagged mods.
Grinder, Rancher and Quarry
- The Grinder Stone places a sealed 17x17x9 structure whose four accelerated blocks spawn real random hostile mobs. After five seconds a Looting III fake player kills them, stores all drops and banks their XP.
- The Automatic Rancher builds its own free 15x15 oak-fence pen, breeds standard animals, shears and milks compatible species, collects products and safely culls adult surplus.
- The Automatic Quarry mines a fixed 9x9 column at the pump's configured speed with Fortune III, captures block-entity contents, stores water as ice and lava as obsidian, and voids other fluids.
- All three machines are redstone-controlled and expose 54-slot inventories through standard NeoForge item capabilities.
Big Ol' storage and block-entity moving
- The Big Ol' Chest holds 1,728 stacks across 32 pages, exposes every slot to pipes, supports comparators and keeps its contents when moved. Its recipe is nine chests.
- The reusable Block Entity Mover carries one spawner or other vanilla/modded block entity while preserving its exact block state and persistent data.
- Every automation block now explains its range, direction, controls, storage and destructive behaviour in its tooltip.
OP Hopper
- Behaves exactly like a five-slot vanilla hopper with the same shape, facing, suction and redstone locking.
- Has no cooldown and performs a complete push, pull and second push every tick, moving up to five full stacks per steady-state tick.
- Supports vanilla sided inventories, loose items and NeoForge-compatible modded inventories.
Storage Crafting Table
- Keeps the familiar vanilla 3x3 crafting screen and recipe book.
- JEI's transfer button draws ingredients directly from inventories on all six adjacent sides, including every slot of a Big Ol' Chest.
- Adjacent inventories are preferred over the player's inventory, and shift-transfer fills the largest complete batch available.
- All recipe selection and item extraction is validated transactionally by the server; JEI remains optional.
Village Architect set
- The Roadwright's Staff joins two selected points with a free terrain-following five-wide road and stores one of six palettes: Medieval Mix, real Dirt Path, Rustic Cobble, Stone Brick, Woodland or Deepslate.
- Every palette controls its own surface variation, slope stairs, bridge supports, lamp posts and lantern type; Dirt Path receives the global 1.5x movement bonus.
- The Village Heart protects and heals a 96-block settlement, maintains at least ten villagers, heals iron golems, grants Hero of the Village II and reports population through right-click and comparator output.
- Both additions use new 32x32 pixel-art assets matching Echoes of Harmony's dark gold-and-cyan machine style.
Automatic Fisher
- Place the Automatic Fisher beside source water for one real fishing-loot roll every five seconds.
- Its open-water fake-player context uses Luck of the Sea III and Lure III, retaining treasure, fishing events and modded loot-table integration.
- Its 54-slot output supports pipes, comparators and pre-filled Pocket Storage priority.
Roofwright's Seal
- Mark two opposite top wall corners and hold any vanilla or modded stairs in the offhand.
- Instantly builds a free fitted gable or hip roof with one-block eaves and a ridge along the sensible axis.
- Matching modded slabs are discovered automatically for narrow ridges.
- The complete 65x65 maximum build volume is validated first, preserving walls, solid obstructions and block entities.
Geometer's Compass
- Configurable exact ghost-block guides for flat circles, upright circles and hollow upper domes.
- Radius ranges from 2 to 48 and shell thickness from 1 to 4, with an exact material count in the GUI.
- Pin a guide to a block and inspect it from every side; sneak-use clears it instantly.
- A block in the other hand supplies the translucent guide tint. The guide never places or consumes anything.
Timeglass
Enter a read-only spectator reconstruction of the nearby Overworld or Avalonia terrain as it looked when freshly generated. Only a local 5x5 chunk area is loaded, and using the Timeglass again returns you to your exact position, direction and game mode. For now works only in standard generation worlds.
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 26.1.2
- Loader: NeoForge 26.1.2.76 or newer
- Java: 25
- Curios: optional charm slot support
- Tectonic: optional Avalonia terrain base
- Distant Horizons: optional and disabled inside Avalonia and Timeglass echo dimensions
