About this project

What does Epicawaken Grappling Hook add?

Epicawaken Grappling Hook is an Epic Fight grappling hook mod built around high-speed movement and combat mobility. The standard grappling hook provides fast pulling, entity dragging, and safe landing on wall tops, while the Phantom Grappling Hook adds cooldown-free chaining, tap-to-air-dash, and hold-to-web-swinging, with full Epic Fight animations and support for use from both Curios slots and the offhand.
If you want to know how to use it, or just want to see some really cool stuff, I recommend checking out the video above!

How to use: Place the Grappling Hook or Phantom Grappling Hook in your offhand or a Curios slot, add ropes as ammo, then press the keybind to fire the hook. The default key is the ` key above Tab.

Standard Grappling Hook:
Hooking the ground will pull the player to the target location and trigger a slide.

Hooking a wall will pull the player to the target location. If there is a standable spot above the target location, the player will be pulled to that standable spot instead.

Hooking an entity: if the entity can be knocked back, it will be pulled toward the player. If the entity cannot be knocked back, the player will be pulled toward the entity.

Hooking nothing: this counts as a miss and has no effect.

Phantom Grappling Hook:
Tapping the hook toward the ground, walls, or entities has the same behavior as the standard Grappling Hook.

Additionally, tapping the hook into the air will also pull the player toward the target location.

When the player is not on the ground and holds the hook key, they will swing around the target location like Spider-Man. Trust me, it’s really cool.
