About this project

What does Crafting table cluster add?

imagewither_storm_banner_849px.jpg Crafting Table Clusters

Crafting Table Clusters is a small addon for Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod that lets you use flying block clusters as crafting tables!

Normally, block clusters being pulled around by the Wither Storm are just flying debris. With this mod installed, simply aim at a block cluster and right-click it to open the normal 3x3 crafting table GUI.

It works with ALL block clusters, so the cluster does not need to contain an actual crafting table.

FEATURES

• Right-click any CWSM block cluster to craft • Opens the normal 3x3 crafting table GUI • Craft while the block cluster is flying • Works with all block clusters • Does not replace CWSM’s original block cluster entities • Does not change CWSM’s normal block cluster rendering • Lightweight addon • Made specifically for Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod • Supports Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.4, and 1.18.2

REQUIREMENTS

Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod is REQUIRED.

Make sure you install the version of Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod that matches the Minecraft version you are using.

PLANNED FORMIDI BOMB FEATURE

Sometime in the future, I am hoping to add a special Formidi Bomb feature.

My goal is to eventually make it so that when you craft the Formidi Bomb while using a block cluster, the block cluster will start spinning and then transform into the Formidi Bomb, similar to Minecraft: Story Mode.

This feature is NOT in the mod yet. It is something I am hoping to add in a future update.

FAQ

Q: Does this mod require Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod?

A: Yes. This is an addon for Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod, so CWSM is required.

Q: Does the block cluster have to contain a crafting table?

A: No! You can right-click any CWSM block cluster and use it as a crafting table.

Q: Why does every block cluster work instead of only crafting table clusters?

A: Making the interaction work with all block clusters keeps the system much simpler and more reliable while leaving CWSM’s original block cluster entities alone.

Q: Can I craft normal Minecraft recipes?

A: Yes. The mod opens the normal 3x3 crafting table GUI.

Q: Does the block cluster stop flying when I open the crafting GUI?

A: No. It remains a normal CWSM block cluster.

Q: Does this change how block clusters look?

A: No. CWSM still handles the block clusters and their rendering normally.

Q: Does it currently turn the block cluster into the Formidi Bomb?

A: No. That is a planned future feature.

Q: Are you going to add Formidi Bomb support?

A: I am hoping to! Sometime in the future, I want to make it so crafting the Formidi Bomb using a block cluster causes the cluster to spin and then transform into the Formidi Bomb.

Q: Does this work with other Wither Storm mods?

A: Probably not. This mod was specifically designed for Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod.

Q: Will you make a Fabric version?

A: There are currently no plans for a Fabric version.

Q: Will you make a NeoForge version?

A: There are currently no plans for a NeoForge version. I would rather spend that time adding more features to the Forge versions.

Q: What Minecraft versions are supported?

A: Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.4, and 1.18.2 are currently supported.

Q: Will you port it to other Minecraft versions?

A: Maybe. More versions may be considered in the future, but please do not repeatedly ask for ports.

Q: Can I use this mod in a modpack?

A: Yes! Feel free to include it in a modpack as long as all required dependencies are included.

Q: Can I reupload this mod?

A: Please do not reupload the mod file. Link people to the original CurseForge or Modrinth project instead.

Q: Why would I need a crafting table GUI on a flying block cluster being sucked into the Wither Storm?

A: Because apparently crafting safely on the ground wasn't dramatic enough.
