About this project

What does Flying in Survival Mode add?

Flying in Survival Mode adds the Celestial Wing, a magical item that grants Creative-style flight while the player remains in Survival mode.

Simply keep the Celestial Wing directly inside your inventory. You do not need to equip it, hold it, press a special key, or manually activate anything.

Features

  • Carry the Celestial Wing directly in your inventory.
  • Double-tap the jump key to start flying.
  • Control flight just like in Creative mode.
  • Remain completely in Survival mode.
  • Hunger, damage, combat, and other Survival mechanics remain active.
  • Flight is automatically removed when the item leaves your inventory.
  • Losing the item while flying causes the player to fall normally.
  • Items stored inside backpacks, shulker boxes, bundles, or other containers do not activate flight.
  • No HUD, status icon, messages, particles, sounds, or activation notifications.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft Java 26.2
  • NeoForge
  • Singleplayer and multiplayer
  • No additional dependencies required
