About this project
What does Hot Water Plus add?
Hot Water (for 1.12.2)
Ever wanted to boil your friends, enemies or rotten flesh in hot water? Now you can! Boil food, regenerate health, and more. Supports CraftTweaker for custom processing.
Overview
Cooking food and other things in a furnace is a common practice these days. Normally you should not throw your items on the floor and also not submerge them in hot liquids. Cooking food in boiling hot water is the perfect economical alternative to coal hungry smelters and their CO2 emissions. And if you want something to dissolve blocks, your friends and your bad taste in movies, there is also a solution called Superheated Lava!
What has changed?
- [Fork-specific] Superheated Lava now properly checks for blocks that can be dissolved
- [Fork-specific] Superheated Lava now, by default, does not dissolve Bedrock anymore
- Buckets are now proper Forge buckets
- Superheated Lava inactive state replaced by a simple config
- Adjusted Hot Spring Biome distribution weight
- All items use vanilla-style 16× textures
- Fixed dupe glitch when throwing items between two puddles of Hot Water
What is new?
- [Fork-specific] Superheated Lava now has a black-/whitelist system for custom behavior
- New code base
- Expanded default boiling recipes
- All types of fish can be boiled
- Boiling and other features can be controlled through the configuration
- Boiling recipe support for CraftTweaker
- JEI integration

This mod is a fork of an unofficial port from TheP2WKing of SoraZodis's Hot Water Mod for Minecraft version 1.12.2. Why? Because TheP2WKing's port required a library, which I did not find reasonable for such a small mod. There are also a few minor fixes.
