About this project

What does Forgeweave add?

Forgeweave is an independent NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that brings modular tool building to modern Minecraft, in the spirit of the 1.12.2 generation of Tinkers' Construct.

Build, don't craft. Stamp patterns at the Stencil Table, shape parts at the Part Builder, assemble tools at the Tool Station and heavy tools at the Tool Forge. Every stat comes from the materials you chose — and every material brings its own traits.

Melt and cast. Build a multiblock Smeltery, melt ores, ingots and modded metals (any c: tag), alloy them, and pour into casts on the Casting Table and Basin. Seared tanks, faucets, ducts, drains and chutes for automation.

Modify. Redstone for haste, lapis for luck, and dozens more; slot economy per modifier level; embossing; sharpening kits.

Ranged. Shortbow at the station, longbow and crossbow at the forge; bow limb and bowstring parts with their own material stats; modifiers and traits ride the arrow.

Tools never vanish — at 0 durability they break and can be repaired at the station.

Compat: JEI (recipes for every station), DarkModeEverywhere. Modded metals work through standard c: tags without per-mod code.

Status: alpha — content and balance still moving; save-compat is promised from beta.1 onward.

Credits & licenses: MIT. Forgeweave is a new implementation; some code and art are derived from Tinkers' Construct (MIT) — see NOTICE.md in the jar. Katana and scimitar blade art derived from Spartan Weaponry (Apache-2.0; license and modification notice shipped in licenses/).
