Cryptbound
Get your own crypt with a new grave at each death
Quick answer
Which Cryptbound release should I use?
cryptbound-1.0.0.jar targets 1.20.1 with Forge. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. All 3 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Cryptbound required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does cryptbound-1.0.0.jar need?
cryptbound-1.0.0.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Corail Tombstone, The Graveyard (FORGE/NEOFORGE), GeckoLib first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Cryptbound add?
A link mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 connecting Corail Tombstone and The Graveyard.
What it does
- Spectral trail : replaces Corail Tombstone's rainbow guide-trail (grave key, tablet of recall, seeker rod, and every other item that uses it) with a slow violet-to-green gradient.
- Graveyard/Tombstone integration : Graveyard's plain gravestone/anvil markers and its wood/stone coffins get swapped for Tombstone's decorative grave models and a buried-podzol mound during worldgen, so a cemetery you stumble into looks and behaves consistently with Corail Tombstone's own graves instead of two unrelated grave systems sitting side by side.
- Death-grave relocation : dying moves your Tombstone grave into the nearest The Graveyard cemetery instead of leaving it wherever you died, reusing the same marker slots the integration above already swapped.
- Personal crypt : right-click an unclaimed Crypt Core to claim it and grow your own crypt underground: a small entrance leading into repeatable burial chambers, your deaths redirected there instead of the public cemetery once you own one, retrieved graves stay standing instead of vanishing, and an owner-only menu to link nearby players or destroy-and-recover the core.
Dependencies
- Corail Tombstone 9.1.4+
- The Graveyard 3.1+
- Minecraft Forge 1.20.1-47.4.10+
