About this project
What does mineralworld add?
What is Mineral World?
Mineral World is a world generation mod that replaces vanilla terrain blocks with mineral blocks while keeping the original terrain shape, biomes, and structures intact. Explore a world where stone is iron ore, trees are made of emeralds and diamonds, and the Nether is full of quartz.
Features
- **Overworld**: Stone becomes iron ore, creating mineral-rich landscapes
- **Nether**: Netherrack becomes nether quartz ore
- **End**: End stone becomes obsidian
- **Trees**: Each tree type maps to a different mineral (oak = emerald, birch = iron, spruce = diamond, dark oak = coal, acacia = gold, jungle = emerald, cherry = redstone, mangrove = copper)
- **Leaves**: Tree leaves become corresponding mineral blocks
- **Nether Fungi**: Crimson stems become redstone ore, warped stems become lapis ore
- **Chorus Plants**: Can grow on mineral ore bases in the End
- **Lava Safety**: Huge fungi won't generate near lava sources
Installation
- Install Forge or Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version
- Download the jar file matching your Minecraft version
- Place it in your
.minecraft/mods/folder
**Note**: Server-side required, client-side optional. All replaced blocks are vanilla blocks, so clients without the mod can still see the mineral world correctly.
