What is Clearness?

Clearness is a world-corruption survival experience. Once it is unleashed, an unstoppable infection spreads through your world, permanently turning every natural block to glass.

There is no cure. There is only time, and how you choose to spend it.

Features

• Spreading corruption — a glass front advances relentlessly, wave after wave, and grows faster with every in-game day.
• It hunts you — new outbreaks erupt near you every few seconds, wherever you go, in every dimension.
• Interaction has a price — interactions attracts the corruption. So does sleeping through the night. Choose carefully.
• Generated structures are safe — generated structures (villages, temples, strongholds, ancient cities…) and player-built blocks resist the transformation.
• Beginning of a journey — a seeker's compass points to the anomaly. What you find there, and what you do about it, is yours to discover.

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader or NeoForge for your Minecraft version
2. Drop this mod in your mods folder
3. On Fabric, add Fabric API as well — NeoForge needs nothing extra
4. Launch the game. Check your inventory.

Multiplayer: required on both the server and every client.

Commands (operators)

• /clearness status — day, speed multiplier, frontier size
• /clearness stop — halt the spread (existing glass remains)
• /clearness start [pos] — trigger it manually
• /clearness check — is the block you stand on protected, and why

Fair warning

This mod aggressively and permanently modifies your world. Back up any world you care about before playing. Start on a fresh world for the intended experience.
