About this project
What does Inventory Locker add?
Inventory Locker
Inventory Locker is a lightweight quality-of-life mod that lets you reserve inventory slots for specific items.
Hover over an occupied player-inventory slot and press L to lock it. Once locked, the item cannot be accidentally moved, dropped, swapped, or replaced by a different item.
When the stack runs out, the slot remains reserved. A transparent image of the locked item stays behind as a placeholder, with a small padlock displayed over it. Only the matching item can return to that slot unless you unlock it.
Features
- Lock inventory and hotbar slots to specific items
- Prevent locked items from being moved or manually dropped
- Keep emptied slots reserved for their original item
- Display transparent item placeholders in empty locked slots
- Show a visible padlock over locked items and placeholders
- Automatically accept matching collected or shift-clicked items

- Works in Survival and Creative inventories
