About this project
What does BetterEnd Create Compat add?
Living in the End with Create
BetterEnd is beautiful and almost impossible to actually settle in with Create. Its trees can't be cut down, no ore mods work with it, and some resources are entirely unavailable.
This mod is a compatibility patch for:
Required:
- BetterEnd: New Dawn - also needs BCLib and Wover.
- Create - won't crash without it, but essentially necessary.
Optional:
Trees:
BetterEnd trees generate with bark blocks, rather than logs. Their leaves don't decay when the tree is cut. This mod replaces all bark with logs, and tweaks Mechanical Saws to have unique behaviors in order to fell said trees properly.
Ores:
THESE MODS ARE OPTIONAL!! THEY WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL!!
Elementary Ores and Nether Ores In End are both now compatible with the End mods.
- Quartz
- Iron (Supplied by End's Phantasm - optional, heavily recommended.)
- Coal
- Redstone
- Gold
- Copper
now newly spawn in the End.
- Lapis
- Emerald
- Diamond
- Netherite
stay out of the End. However, they may be gotten from End Cities.
Lava:
Sulphur Springs generates lava lakes instead of water.
- Lava + Water
- -> Cobblestone
- -> Diorite (Quartz from Nether Ores In End)
- -> Andesite (Iron from End's Phantasm)
- -> Create
Spawning In:
Enderian and Phantom origins start at a BetterEnd village or eternal portal, with their respawn point set there. Skip the Overworld entirely.
