About this project

What does Vonix Guardian add?

VonixGuardian - The new Guardian of your server!

This mod was released with most tests stable! Please report any issues as I don't like my stuff broken ;) and you can expect fixes within 48 hours! Include the modpack you used and information like blocks that failed rollback.

Server-side audit, investigation, and rollback tools for modded Minecraft servers.

VonixGuardian helps server owners and staff understand what happened in their worlds, investigate incidents, and safely reverse unwanted changes. It is designed for dedicated servers running Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge, with no client-side mod required for the server audit tools.

Features

  • Detailed audit history — Track blocks, containers, inventories, items, crafting, entities, explosions, chat, commands, signs, interactions, hoppers, pistons, fluids, fire, portals, structures, sessions, and more.
  • Inspector mode — Toggle the inspector and click a block to view readable history for that location.
  • Flexible lookups — Search by player, time, radius, world, action type, block, item, entity, and inclusion or exclusion filters.
  • Rollback and restore — Reverse matching actions, restore previously rolled-back changes, and undo the latest rollback or restore operation.
  • Operator tools — Run nearby lookups, inspect system status, reload safe configuration sections, purge aged records within safety limits, and use administrative teleport or give commands.
  • Powerful filters — Combine player, time, radius, action, preview, count, verbose, silent, and optimization options in one query.
  • Multiple storage options — SQLite is included by default, with MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL support for larger installations.
  • Rolling audit logs — Write JSON Lines audit logs with configurable rotation, compression, and retention.
  • Server-friendly persistence — Database and log work is handled asynchronously with batching, prepared statements, indexed lookups, and event coalescing for busy modded servers.
  • Permissions — LuckPerms-aware permission nodes with operator-level fallback when LuckPerms is not installed.
  • Developer API — Integrate compatible mods and tools through typed lookup results and audit-submission methods.
  • Extensibility — Compatible mods can annotate or cancel audit entries through optional integration hooks.
  • Internationalization — Includes multiple language bundles for operator-facing messages.
