About this project

What does Chest Directory add?

Chest Directory

Never lose a chest again. Automatically indexes every container you place or open, then helps you find it.

Features

  • Auto-tracking — chests, barrels and shulker boxes are logged when placed or opened. Large chests count as one.
  • Search anything — name, block type, dimension, or any item inside (all slots).
  • Glow through walls — bright white outline visible through terrain (15s, configurable).
  • Teleport — jump to a container.
  • Peek inside — view live contents without walking there.
  • Favourites & renames — star and rename containers from the list (the block itself is untouched).

Usage

Press B to open the sidebar. Three buttons per row: TP, View, Glow.
