Sia's Fair Fight

Fair Fight exists because armor can be way too powerful in large modpacks

Other mods calculate first → FairFight governs the final result.

This mod tries to keep strong armor useful without letting the player become almost impossible to kill

It also adds a couple new rare enchantments and gives mobs more ways to fight back ⚔️

BALANCE CHANGES

Protection Balance:

(Keeps Protection useful but stops it from blocking almost all damage)

Damage Limit:

(Puts a limit on how much damage armor enchantments effects and other mods can block together)

Modded Armor:

(Allows modded armor work normally and only steps in when the final protection gets too strong)

Shields / Defensive Equipment:

(Shields or defensive equipment work normally and have no protection changes. You'll probably rely on these more) > ᴗ •

Healing Balance:

(Stops very fast passive healing from making the player almost impossible to kill)

ENCHANTMENTS

Armor Piercing:

(lets an attack get through armor and other protection)

Disembodied Blade:

(A rare melee enchantment that sometimes lets an attack get through armor and other protection)

Enchantment Conflicts:

(Armor Piercing can't be used with Power. Disembodied Blade cannot be used with Sharpness Smite Bane of Arthropods or Fire Aspect)

Enchant book sources:

(✨📚 Fishing 🎣*✨ —* Armor Piercing and Disembodied Blade can rarely be found while fishing. These enchantment books can only be fished from a natural body of water)

Enhanced Mobs:

(Some newly spawned mobs can rarely get Armor Piercing or Disembodied Blade on the weapon they are already holding. They can sometimes drop them on death.)

MOD COMPATIBILITY

CREATE:

(Direct support for some of its special weapons and combat behavior)

CREATE CYBERNETICS:

(Direct support for some of its special player defense behavior)

QUALITY EQUIPMENT:

(Direct support that fixes a damage resistance problem and helps its armor bonuses behave better with other mods)

GUARD VILLAGERS:

(Direct enchant support for guard weapons)

Config:

(Config can disable or enable all modules)

Made For Modpacks:

(Fair Fight leaves armor toughness effects attributes cyberware and other modded systems alone)

(It waits for other damage systems to do their work and only steps in when the end result becomes too strong)

(This also helps stop several different armor and defense mods from stacking together into accidental immortality)
