About this project

What does Chremastics add?

Chremastics - a Terraria-inspired monetary system for Minecraft. The mod adds a complete currency system with Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum coins, coin bags, coin piles, and configurable entity coin drops. Emerald-based villager trades can also be replaced with coins for a more consistent economy.

Almost everything can be customized through configuration, including coin drop behavior, entity whitelists/blacklists, currency values, drop chances, death penalties, chest loot, visual effects, and the position of the purse UI. Chremastics is built to be flexible enough to serve as anything from a simple replacement for emeralds to the foundation of a full RPG-style economy.

Features:

  • Four tiers of currency
  • Coin bags for storing large amounts of money
  • Configurable coin drops from entities
  • Optional emerald-to-coin villager trading
  • Purse overlay for managing your money
  • Extensive client and server-side configuration
  • Configurable coin particles and visual effects
  • Optional Curios integration
  • Designed to work well in heavily customized modpacks
