About this project
What does Minecart Chains add?
Minecart Chains lets you couple minecarts together with iron chains so they move as a short train.
Place minecarts on a rail, hold an iron chain (copper chains work too), and right click a minecart. If another cart is close enough, they couple right away. If not, right click a second minecart to finish the link. The leading cart pulls the rest behind it. A cart with a rider, a furnace minecart, or the fastest cart usually becomes the leader.
You can couple more than two carts. Link the first pair, then link the next cart to the end of the train. Each cart can hold up to two chain connections.
Sneak and right click a chained minecart with a chain to unlink it. If linked carts get more than three blocks apart, the chain breaks on its own.
A visible chain appears between coupled carts so you can see the train clearly while it runs.
