What's this Worth?
Ever wonder what your stuff is actually worth? This mod gives every item an honest, objective worth score based on real economic principles — no fake markets, no made-up prices, just a genuine read on scarcity.
How it works: the server periodically scans everything in circulation — player inventories, chests, the works — and calculates each item's worth relative to everything else on your server right now. Rarer than average? Worth climbs. More common? Worth drops. It's all relative to your actual server, not some fixed number that means nothing in context.
But it goes deeper than just counting. Worth also factors in how hard something genuinely is to make — real crafting depth pulled straight from your modpack's actual recipes, so a netherite ingot doesn't get treated the same as dirt just because you happen to be sitting on a pile of both right now. Enchantments add real value too, weighted by how rare the enchantment actually is.
See it in action: hover over any item for a clean, gold tooltip showing its worth — no spam, no announcements, just there when you want it. Check /ww wealth to see the full richest-to-poorest ranking on your server, or place down a Market Checker (a neat golden lectern, crafted from a regular lectern and some gold nuggets) for one-click access.
Everything is deeply configurable for server admins — scan frequency, formula sensitivity, how much crafting difficulty should matter, even optional min/max caps if you want the numbers to stay in a friendly range. Tune it until it feels right for your community.
No markets. No trading GUIs. No economy plugin bloat. Just an honest number that tells you what things are actually worth.
